Barrister found guilty of professional misconduct

Howard Godfrey, a barrister, has been found guilty of professional misconduct after he told a court that a 16-year-old girl who had been sexually assaulted by his client was "not a young and innocent girl". The Bar Standards Board ordered him to attend a course on advocacy and vulnerable witnesses.
